Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: January 1, 2025 Β· Required by FTC 16 CFR Part 255
ToolsphereHQ earns commissions when you buy products through our affiliate links. This never affects our editorial ratings, rankings, or recommendations. We recommend products we've genuinely tested and believe are good β regardless of commission rates.
What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a URL containing a tracking code. When you click an affiliate link on ToolsphereHQ and complete a purchase, the merchant pays us a commission. You pay the same price you would if you went directly to the merchant's site.
Does This Affect Our Reviews?
No. Our editorial process is specifically designed to prevent affiliate relationships from influencing scores and recommendations:
- Review scoring rubrics are defined before testing begins
- Reviewers complete all scores before any affiliate rate information is considered
- We review and recommend tools that have no affiliate programs
- We have recommended against products that pay high commissions when they were inferior
- We publish negative reviews when our testing warrants it
Our Affiliate Network Partners
We maintain relationships through Impact Radius, Commission Junction (CJ Affiliate), ShareASale, Awin, and direct affiliate programs. Relationships change as we add and remove coverage areas.
Sponsored Content Policy
Sponsored content is clearly labelled "Sponsored" or "Advertiser Partner" at the top of the page. Sponsored content does not affect editorial scores or rankings in our review articles.
FTC Compliance
This disclosure is made in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255) and the UK Competition and Markets Authority guidelines on affiliate marketing.
